
1.1. These Terms of Use (the Terms) govern the procedure for using the Cordis mobile and/or web application (the Application) provided by CORDIS Medical Assistance LLP (the Company).
1.2. The Terms enter into force from the date specified at the beginning of this document and apply to all Users of the Application.
1.3. By using the Application, the User confirms agreement with these Terms. If the User does not agree with the Terms, use of the Application must be discontinued.
2.1. The Application may be used by an individual who has valid access to the Company's information system on the basis of a VHI agreement concluded by the User's employer or another person, or on another lawful basis.
2.2. Access to the Application depends on the existence and validity of the relevant agreement (including an agreement between the Company and the User's employer). Termination of such agreement may result in termination of the User's access to the Application.
2.3. Independent registration in the Application without the relevant grounds is not provided at the current stage.
3.1. At the current stage, the Application provides the ability to:
3.1.1. view the insurance program
3.1.2. view insurance limits
3.1.3. view medical organizations
3.1.4. receive information about insurance coverage
3.2. In the future, the Application functionality may be expanded; descriptions of prospective capabilities do not mean that the relevant functionality is available at the current stage.
4.1. Information about insurance coverage, limits, available clinics and other similar information displayed in the Application is informational and does not replace official confirmation of an insured event or the right to receive a specific medical service.
4.2. The actual possibility of receiving a service may depend on the terms of the VHI agreement, the insurance program, the need for prior approval and the current remaining limit at the time of request. The User is advised to clarify the terms for receiving a service in the manner provided by the VHI agreement or the Company's process before contacting a medical organization.
5.1. Access to the Application is provided only to Users who have passed authorization.
5.2. The User must ensure the safety of their credentials (login, password and/or other access tools) and must not transfer them to third parties.
5.3. In case of password compromise, loss of account access or loss of a device used to access the Application, the User must immediately contact the Company's support service to block access.
5.4. The Company may block the User's access to the Application where there are grounds to believe that the account is being used by a third party without the User's consent, as well as in cases of violation of these Terms.
6.1. When using the Application, it is prohibited to:
6.1.1. obtain unauthorized access to the Application or the Company's information system
6.1.2. interfere with the operation of the Application
6.1.3. use the Application for unlawful purposes
6.1.4. distribute malicious software
6.1.5. attempt to bypass the Application's security measures
7.1. The Company takes reasonable measures to ensure availability of the Application, but does not guarantee its continuous and uninterrupted operation.
7.2. The Company is not responsible for:
7.2.1. communication interruptions and operation of data transmission networks
7.2.2. operation of third-party services not controlled by the Company
7.2.3. actions of third parties, including medical organizations
7.2.4. consequences of the User's use of information displayed in the Application in violation of the recommendations specified in section 4 of these Terms
7.3. The Application is not a medical device and is not intended for diagnosis, treatment prescription or other medical decisions. Information displayed in the Application does not replace a doctor's consultation.
8.1. All elements of the Application (including software code, design, trademarks and other objects) belong to the Company or are used by the Company on lawful grounds. Use of these objects without the Company's consent is not allowed, except for use of the Application for its direct purpose.
9.1. User requests related to use of the Application are sent using the contact details specified in the Contacts section. The Company reviews requests within the time limits established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
9.2. Disputes arising in connection with use of the Application are resolved through negotiations, and if no agreement is reached, in the manner provided by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
10.1. These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
11.1. The Company may change the functionality of the Application and these Terms. The new version of the Terms enters into force from the moment of publication in the Application, unless otherwise specified in the new version. Continued use of the Application after publication of the new version means the User's consent to the changes.
